High quality protein - food based on sources of complete protein of very beneficial amino acids composition. All the necessary
amino acids are in amounts significantly exceeding the coefficient characteristic of a chicken egg protein. Due to the use of such
sources of protein it is possible to supply appropriate proportion of energy and building blocks necessary for maintaining a stable
body weight – the basic requirement in preventing dege nerative joint diseases.
Presence of fatty acids from both animal products and flaxseed oil - ensures maximum engagement of polyunsaturated fatty acids
from n-3 and n-6 groups in biochemical control of all the important tissue functions.
L-tryptophan - addition of this component combined with it as naturally occurring in animal products, influences many bodily
functions: regulates metabolism (decreases appetite), influences metabolism of carbohydrates in the body by increasing synthesis
of vitamin B6, participates in the process of producing growth hormone, influences the level of neurotransmitters: dopamine,
noradrenalin and beta-endorphin (their level grows after consumption of a meal with a high tryptophan content).
Herbs - presence in the food of St. John’s wort (Hypercium L.) and valerian (Valeriana officinalis) makes it a valuable way of
supplementing their shortage in a daily diet of an adult dog.
L–carnitine - ensures targeted and facilitated transport of medium-chain fatty acids to mitochondria where they are subject to
metabolism. The lipolytic effect obtained in this manner influences reduction of body weight.
Mannan–oligosaccharides, yeasts, yucca schidigera extract - stimulate digestive functions and absorption of nutrients from
gastrointestinal tract and stimulate its peristalsis.
